A 1.5-inch coin is compact and economical, but the available design area is limited. It works best when the design has one dominant logo, short text, simple shapes, and minimal relief. It is not the best choice for detailed badges, portraits, multiple logos, long mottos, or complex scenes. This size may be appropriate for small membership tokens, event coins, simple company logos, or designs intentionally created with a clean and minimal appearance.

1.75-Inch Challenge Coins

This size can prevent the design from becoming crowded and gives the sculptor more room to establish relief hierarchy.
