// Challenge Coin Engineering

A Challenge Coin Company Built Around Execution

Most challenge coin companies begin with artwork and hope the factory can make it work. Excalibur begins with the finished metal in mind. Every line, border, recessed field, raised surface, color break, edge treatment, and relief transition is planned for real production.

That engineering-first approach protects the details that matter: unit history, agency seals, organizational identity, names, dates, mottos, symbolism, and the physical presence of the finished coin. The goal is not simply to make a coin. The goal is to make the right coin.

Crisp two-level insignia, sculpted subjects, portraits, equipment, architecture, animals, and deep dimensional modeling.

Capability 02

Traditional recessed enamel plus gradients, camouflage, photographs, fine seals, and detailed UV color layered over metal relief.

Capability 03

Metals & Finishes

Antique gold, antique silver, polished finishes, bronze, black nickel, two-tone plating, and finishes selected to support the design.

Excalibur Industries challenge coin production and factory inspection

// Why Excalibur

Engineering First. Accountability Always.

Excalibur Industries is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned business founded by a U.S. Army Special Forces veteran with additional law-enforcement and government experience. That background shapes how we evaluate mission, symbolism, accuracy, and the responsibility attached to official organizational designs.

We manage design engineering, production coordination, inspection, communication, and delivery from the United States. Direct factory relationships and hands-on manufacturing knowledge allow us to identify problems before tooling begins and resolve issues without passing customers through an anonymous sales queue.

The result is a clearer process, a stronger proof, fewer production surprises, and a finished coin that represents the organization correctly.

// The Experience

More Than a Coin. A Moment.

The value of a challenge coin is not measured only by metal, size, or finish. It is measured by the moment it is presented, the service it recognizes, and the story the recipient carries forward.

// How It Works

From Concept to Completed Coin

You do not need finished production artwork. Start with a logo, sketch, photograph, existing coin, AI-generated concept, or written idea. We turn the source material into an engineering blueprint built for manufacturing.

Step 01

Submit Your Idea

Tell us what the coin represents, who will receive it, and any symbols, text, images, or requirements that must be included.

Step 02

Receive Your Blueprint

We develop a professional proof showing the intended layout, metal, finish, color, relief, and production direction.

Step 03

Approve and Produce

After approval and payment, the mold is created and production begins under the specifications established in the proof.

Step 04

Inspect and Deliver

Completed coins are inspected, packaged, and delivered in approximately three weeks for most standard projects.

// Common Questions

What Customers Ask Before Starting

Minimum Order

How many coins do I need to order?

The minimum order is 100 coins. Larger quantities reduce the per-coin cost because tooling and setup are distributed across the production run.

Artwork

Do I need a finished design?

No. We can begin with rough ideas, logos, photos, sketches, prior coins, or reference images and convert them into manufacturable artwork.

Production

How long does production take?

Most standard orders are completed in approximately three weeks after design approval. Specialty construction may require additional time.

Construction

Can coins combine 3D relief and color?

Yes. Sculpted 3D metal can be combined with enamel or UV color to preserve depth while reproducing detailed multicolor artwork.
